Because of the rising cost of gas and my attempt to
consume less fossil fuels... (umm, ok... because I
want to have FUN) I am obsessed with buying a motor
scooter. Years ago, I rode Vishal's Yamaha Vino - a
model with a small 50cc engine - and it was a blast!
More recently, I've been looking at models from
different companies, and there is one that stands out
to me - the aprilia Atlantic 200.

Even though I love retro-styled Vespas, they're not ideal for scooting on highways. Though I don't intend to ride on the highway more than once in a while, I don't want to be limited by a city-commuter. The aprilia Atlantic 200 offers a powerful enough engine for safe highway driving, has an aerodynamic shape and windscreen, and is comfortable for long distances. There is a LOT of storage space under the seat, and even some space up front in the glove box. Can you say 65 miles per gallon?
Update! On October 28th, I got my Motorcycle Learner's Permit!
